Privacy Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Petition Club at petitionclub.com ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use our website, petitions, gift offers, membership and store (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. Our Terms of Service also apply.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Your petition answers and email address.
- Your name, shipping address and phone number (if you give it).
- Order and membership details: what you bought, your consent to the membership terms, and your billing history.
- Messages you send us, including emails to any @petitionclub.com address.
Payment information. Card and wallet payments are handled by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number. We receive limited details from them, such as the card brand, last four digits and expiration date, or your PayPal email.
Information collected automatically.
- Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you reached our site.
- Ad campaign details from the link you clicked, such as UTM tags and Facebook click IDs.
We collect this with cookies, pixels and similar technologies, as described in section 4.
2. How we use your information
- To run petitions, process orders, ship gifts and products, and manage your membership, including renewals and cancellations.
- To send order confirmations, sign-in links, shipping updates, billing notices and replies to your messages.
- To send you emails about petitions, offers and products. You can stop these at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing us.
- To measure and improve our ads and website, including on Facebook and Instagram.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Service secure, and enforce our Terms.
- To comply with the law, including keeping records of the membership terms you agreed to.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your name or email address to petition recipients or list brokers. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that work for us: payment processing (Stripe, PayPal), email delivery and receiving (Resend), website hosting, order fulfillment and shipping carriers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising partners such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We share browsing events and, when you sign a petition or buy, hashed (encoded) contact details, so we can measure our ads and show relevant ads.
- Petition results, shared or published only in aggregated form that does not identify you.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with the law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, us or others.
- Business transfers, such as a merger, financing or sale of our business, where the new owner continues to protect your information as described here.
4. Cookies, pixels and advertising
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and checkout, and record which ad brought you to our site. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. You can change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and learn about interest-based advertising choices at optout.aboutads.info.
5. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access, correct or delete your personal information, or get a copy of it;
- opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined in some state laws;
- appeal our decision on a request.
To make a request, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity, and an authorized agent may make a request for you where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We keep records required by law, such as transaction and membership-consent records, even after a deletion request.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. That includes keeping order, billing and membership-consent records for as long as tax, accounting and consumer-protection laws require.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encryption in transit and limited staff access, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is intended only for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
9. Third-party sites
Our site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as PayPal. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and we will tell you by email about material changes.
